How version 1.0 of AI Governance Prep handles information.
AI Governance Prep is published by IT Piotr Szmielew, Puszczyka 3/86, 02-785 Warszawa, Poland. For privacy or support questions, email [email protected] or call +48 504 159 350.
This policy explains how version 1.0 of AI Governance Prep handles information. It is an operational draft, not legal advice. Qualified-counsel review remains required before this policy is published.
The app has no publisher account, developer-operated server, advertising, tracking, third-party SDK, embedded analytics SDK, or publisher-operated telemetry. Its code does not send your study history, imported questions, microphone audio, or speech transcript to the publisher.
Study data is stored on your device. When Apple iCloud is available, selected progress data can synchronize through your private iCloud database. Apple provides the App Store and iCloud services under Apple's own terms and privacy notices. The publisher cannot inspect your private CloudKit database. Separately, Apple may make privacy-protected aggregate App Store analytics and user-opt-in crash, usage, or diagnostic reports available to the publisher.
The app can create or store the following information for its features:
The app does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, payment information, advertising identifier, precise location, contacts, photos, or a publisher login.
Bundled questions, lessons, notes, scenarios, and glossary entries ship with the app. Your imported JSON file remains in the local app container and is not uploaded by the app.
Question reviews, answers, reading milestones, and exam attempts use Apple SwiftData. The app asks the operating system to mirror that progress through the private CloudKit database associated with your Apple Account. If private iCloud setup fails, the app falls back to a local-only store and reports that status in Settings. The publisher has no developer dashboard or endpoint that exposes your private records.
iCloud processing is provided by Apple and may involve Apple's infrastructure and international data handling under your Apple Account terms. You control which apps use iCloud in device settings. Apple explains those controls at support.apple.com/en-euro/118225 and its privacy practices at apple.com/legal/privacy.
Voice Drill asks for microphone and speech-recognition permission only after you deliberately start that feature. It listens for short answer choices. The app requires Apple's on-device recognition mode; if the device cannot recognize speech locally, the feature refuses to listen rather than using off-device recognition.
Microphone audio is processed in memory for the active drill and is not retained by the app after listening stops. The recognition transcript is temporary and is not saved to the study store, private iCloud database, or a publisher service. You can always answer by tapping instead. You can change microphone and speech permissions in iOS or iPadOS Settings.
Lesson and note playback uses Apple operating-system text-to-speech services. Voice Drill uses bundled prerecorded audio for compatible question, answer-option, and explanation prompts, with Apple's on-device speech synthesizer as a fallback. The prerecorded files were generated before distribution; the app does not contact the audio-generation provider or send text or audio to it at runtime.
Playback state and Now Playing metadata are handled on the device. The CarPlay screen provides a minimal control to start Voice Drill and displays talking or listening status; it does not display a full quiz or mock exam. Spoken answers are captured and recognized on the connected iPhone under the microphone and speech-recognition rules above. The app does not send playback history, microphone audio, or transcripts to the publisher.
Study reminders are off on a new installation. The app requests notification permission only after you enable reminders. Reminder requests, due counts, delivery times, and badges are scheduled locally through Apple notification services; the app does not use a publisher push-notification server.
AI Governance Prep is a USD 0.99 paid-upfront App Store app with no in-app purchases or subscriptions. Apple processes the purchase, Apple Account, payment, storefront, tax, receipt, download, and redownload information outside the app. The publisher may receive App Store sales, proceeds, tax, and financial reporting made available by Apple, but the app does not connect those reports to your study activity or collect them from your device. Apple's App Store privacy notice is at apple.com/legal/privacy/data/en/app-store.
The app does not embed an analytics or crash-reporting SDK and does not send telemetry to a publisher-operated service. Apple may nevertheless provide the publisher with aggregated App Store discovery, download, sales, usage, and stability metrics. When a user has chosen to share diagnostics and usage information with app developers, Apple may also make usage or crash information available through App Store Connect or Xcode. Apple applies aggregation, privacy thresholds, and other privacy protections to its reports.
These Apple-provided reports are separate from the private CloudKit study database and do not give the publisher access to imported JSON, microphone audio, speech transcripts, answers, reading milestones, or mock attempts. Availability and fields depend on the user's Apple settings and Apple's current reporting policies. See the Analytics Reports API overview and App Store Connect app-usage documentation.
Local app information remains until you remove it, delete the app and its data using Apple device controls, or the operating system removes it. Private iCloud progress remains under your Apple Account until it is deleted through the app and synchronized or removed through Apple iCloud controls. Apple may retain transaction and account records under its own policies and legal obligations.
The in-app Erase all progress action deletes question review records, answer records, reading milestones, and timed mock-exam attempts, and cancels local reminder schedules. It does not delete the optional exam date or other preferences, or imported JSON. The separate Reset reading progress action deletes reading milestones only. Remove imported questions deletes the imported JSON file.
For the most complete removal currently available:
Allow synchronization to complete before deleting the app if you want in-app deletions to reach other signed-in devices. Repeat the app deletion on other devices if local copies remain. If AI Governance Prep data is not exposed in the iCloud storage screen or returns after these steps, contact [email protected] for current guidance; the publisher cannot directly enter or erase a user's private CloudKit database.
The app relies on iOS and iPadOS application sandboxing, data protection, Apple permission controls, private CloudKit access, and App Store distribution protections. No system can be guaranteed completely secure. Protect your device passcode and Apple Account, keep the operating system current, and avoid importing JSON from an untrusted source. Imported text is treated as study content, not executable code, but it can contain inaccurate or unwanted material.
The app is a general-audience independent study tool and is not directed to children. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children or anyone else through the app. It is not listed in the App Store Kids category. Parents and guardians control downloads and device settings through Apple's family and parental-control tools.
Depending on where you live, data-protection law may provide rights concerning personal data controlled by the publisher. Because the publisher does not receive app study data or maintain an app account, the publisher generally cannot identify or retrieve a user's on-device or private iCloud study records. You can use the controls above to access the app's visible progress, change permissions, disable iCloud use, remove imports, and delete data. Apple controls requests concerning your Apple Account, App Store transactions, private iCloud service, and Apple's own analytics processing; contact Apple through support.apple.com.
This section applies when you email, call, or otherwise contact IT Piotr Szmielew directly. It does not apply to on-device or private CloudKit study data.
IT Piotr Szmielew is the controller for this correspondence. No data protection officer has been appointed; privacy requests go to [email protected].
For a privacy request, include enough detail to locate the correspondence, but do not send passwords, payment-card information, microphone recordings, or sensitive imported content. The publisher may need to verify identity proportionately before fulfilling a rights request and will respond within the period required by applicable law.
The app is intended for worldwide App Store availability. Local app processing occurs on your device. Private iCloud, App Store, and Apple-provided analytics processing is performed by Apple under the terms and safeguards applicable to your Apple Account and region. Direct support messages are received by the publisher in Poland and handled as described above.
This policy may change when app functionality, legal requirements, or Apple services change. The effective date above will be updated, and material changes will be posted at https://szmielew.pl/aigp/privacy. If a future app version introduces a publisher server, embedded analytics, advertising, third-party SDK, off-device speech, or another material data flow, the publisher will revise this policy and App Store privacy answers before release.
