Summary

CCAR-P Prep has no advertising, analytics, tracking, developer-operated user account, or developer-operated server. The publisher does not collect personal data from the app.

The app stores study activity on the device. If iCloud is available, Apple can synchronize that activity through the user's private iCloud database. The publisher does not operate or access that private database.

Information stored by the app

The app can store:

This information supports study scheduling, history, readiness calculations, reminders, and continuity across the user's devices. It is not used for advertising, profiling, or sale.

iCloud synchronization

Study progress can synchronize through Apple's CloudKit service in the user's private iCloud database. Apple processes this synchronization under the user's Apple relationship and Apple's privacy terms. The publisher has no developer-operated endpoint or interface for reading that private study data.

If iCloud is unavailable or misconfigured, the app falls back to local storage and displays that status in Settings.

Deleting the app may not delete information already retained in the user's iCloud account. The user can manage app data through Apple device and iCloud settings. Because the publisher cannot access the private database, deletion requests for that database must be carried out through the user's Apple account controls.

Microphone and speech recognition

Spoken-answer mode is optional. When enabled, the app requests Microphone and Speech Recognition permissions to recognize an answer choice such as A, B, C, or D.

The implementation requires on-device speech recognition. Microphone audio and recognized answers are not sent to the publisher. If on-device recognition is unavailable, the app does not fall back to server recognition. Declining either permission does not prevent typed study or spoken playback.

Spoken playback and media controls

The app uses Apple's on-device speech synthesizer to read study material aloud and can expose playback controls through the operating system. The publisher does not receive the spoken text, playback history, or media-control activity.

CarPlay interface

When connected, CarPlay can start a 10-question voice drill and displays only whether the app is talking or listening plus the current question number. Questions and answers are not displayed. Spoken playback and on-device answer recognition use the iPhone's system audio and speech services; microphone audio, recognized answers, and drill activity are not sent to the publisher.

Notifications

Daily reminders are optional local notifications scheduled by the app on the device. Notification permission can be changed in iOS or iPadOS Settings. The publisher does not send marketing notifications or maintain a notification server.

CloudKit may use Apple push infrastructure to synchronize private iCloud changes. That service is operated by Apple, not by the publisher.

Imported files

The user can select a JSON file containing additional practice questions. The app copies the selected file into its local application container. It does not upload the file to the publisher or intentionally synchronize imported question content through iCloud.

Users are responsible for having the right to use imported material and for avoiding personal or confidential information in imported files.

Purchases

CCAR-P Prep is sold as a paid-upfront App Store app. Apple processes the purchase, receipt, payment method, refunds, and purchase history. The publisher does not receive payment-card or bank-account details from the app.

Analytics, advertising, and tracking

The app contains no advertising SDK, analytics SDK, third-party tracking SDK, or cross-app tracking. It does not sell personal data and does not combine app activity with third-party data for advertising or advertising measurement.

Retention and deletion

Study data remains on the device and, when enabled, in the user's private iCloud database until the user removes it through available app or Apple account controls.

Mock-exam history is retained with other private study data. The publisher cannot remotely inspect or erase it because no publisher account or server exists.

Children

The app is a professional certification study aid and is not directed to children. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other users.

International availability

The app may be available worldwide through Apple's App Store. Device and private iCloud processing may occur in locations selected and operated by Apple under Apple's terms. No personal data is transferred to a publisher-operated service.

Security

The app relies on Apple's application sandbox, device security, and private iCloud database controls. No method of storage is risk-free, so users should protect their Apple Account and device credentials and avoid importing confidential material.

Rights and questions

Because the publisher does not collect or access personal data from the app, the publisher generally has no user record to access, correct, export, or erase. For questions about this policy or the app's behavior, contact [email protected]. Requests concerning Apple-held App Store or iCloud information should be directed through Apple's privacy and account controls.

Changes to this policy

The policy may be updated when the app's behavior, legal requirements, or Apple services change. The current version will be published at https://szmielew.pl/ccarp/privacy with a new last-updated date.
